Okay, so a good time was had by all!!! So much so that I will not disclose or show any of the really good stuff. In other words, you had to be there!
So, here's the birthday boy, Koa Johnson, my awesome brother, enjoying a "Dirty, F____, Nasty Martini" at Murphy's Bar & Grill. Besides the olive juice there is Tabasco Sauce in it. Could be a Nawlins concoction?! Isn't Koa just so handsome???
Now, these two are the notorious "partners in crime". Laura & Linda - Simply gorgeous!
I don't know this couple, I just really love this image! They are happily in their own world, their own little bubble surrounded by so much movement, activity, and even orbs having a good time. It's almost like a dream.
This guy was throwing these bead necklaces out into the crowd. Love the Hotel St. sign all lit up. So Hawai‘i, Mardi Gras in China Town!
I don't know who this is but I love this shot!!! Wish I could get this shot to him somehow?!
Once again, I don't know these people, but this guy brought his grandmother out on the town and was twirling her around while she boogied in her wheelchair.
If you've not been to Mardi Gras, you gotta go next year. The parade, the costumes, and the music is so incredible.
Now, this is a fellow photographer friend of mine, Marcia Campbell, living it up! Must feel like home, Marcia! Looking good!!
Here's a great shot of Holly Fernandez Ray, my classmate from Punahou '76, and her hubby Michael. You are the cool couple!
Another great shot of Ron (one of my other brothers) and Denys (my dear friend) and the floating orb. You guys are awesome!
Here is yours truly with Ann Marie "Ree" (Koa's girlfriend) trying on a new fashion style. I was really getting into the whole feather boa thing. I think I want to start a collection now?! Hmmmm.... I wish I had more photos of Ree since she was the one who planned this fun night out! Love you Ree!! Thanks for a great time!
I had a blast, can you tell??? They should have this kind of event every weekend! Seriously, you gotta go next year if not for any other reason but to dance your little bootie off. I did!!! Til next time, remember to choose love over fear!
